Works better than sticky tapes!!!
I truly thought this was going to be a joke 😃 I did not expect to actually have fun swiping these little fruit fly buggers out if existence 😅.... It honestly worked so well. I would definitely recommend you to buy this if your thinking about it or on the fence. It really does work incredibly well.

Died after one use
Update #2. Seller was quick to respond to first review and promised a refund. Unfortunately we never received that refund.Update. The seller saw this review and offered a full refund. Raising from one star to 3 for the quick and responsive customer service. When this arrived it appeared to be used because the package had been opened previously and the parts were not individually wrapped. The power cord wasn’t even bundled - just loose in the box. Should have sent it back right then. However, plugged it in and used it that day after it was fully charged. That evening we plugged it back it in until the next morning but didn’t try to use it again until yesterday. Nothing. Dead. Plugged it back in and tried again today. Nothing. Can’t send it back because we threw out the damaged packaging. Total waste.

Wand mode/ Stand Mode
So i will refer to want mode as when you swing it to hit a fly. Wand mode is when you press the switch up one and you press the button when you are swinging and when your not swinging you let the button go; so that way your not hitting anyone when you are swinging the wand and on accident you zap someone. Now the stand mode is when you leave it on the wall and they give you a adhesive to attach to the wall and you leave it on and out of reach to children and the little purple light attracts the bugs and they zap. You can also put it on a stand in the areas where you have trouble with bugs popping up and its transferable it looks like a hockey puck. Now the question of if it even works. Well yes it does i mean it does. I put it next to my ac by my window and i was standing there having a conversation with someone and i herd a zap zap zap and i forgot i sat it there and i looked smoke was coming from the zapper because a fly flew into it and was cooking we had to shake it off because it was disintegrating no exaggeration because the thing really was burning to nothing, This is great to take with you to multiple locations to just out and about when you are about to eat.

Fun way to fight off the flies and mosquitos
The media could not be loaded. Â I tried to get a video of this thing in action but easier said than done. Essentially, it is a rechargeable, handheld bug zapper shaped like a small tennis racquet. There are two modes to choose from with the switch on the handle. One mode is the 'always on mode' that keeps the electric grid on along with a UV LED light of some sort that attracts the insects to their doom. The package comes with a stand and a mounting bracket, so you can set it up near where you are sitting and let it go to work on its own. When bugs hit the metal grid, there is a fairly loud crack (or two or three) and even a small spark and a smoky smell (with larger bugs in particular). Quite satisfying when you finally get that one pesky fly that has been buzzing your burger for the past 15 minutes! The other mode is more of a manual mode; the UV light is off and the grid is only on when you push a second, smaller button on the handle. The charge lasts a lot longer in this mode, but I will say that in my experience, it is a lot harder to swat the bugs because you really dont want to swat them when they land on something because I feel like you would damage the device. In this mode, you have to swat them in the air, which takes a whole different level of accuracy and coordination (that apparently I do not have).Overall, this works exactly as expected and is a fun way to get rid of that buzzing little bug that is ruining your relaxing backyard experience.
