For a pocket door, it's good to have a way to pull the door when it's in the pocket. This is a good looking pull and it moves out of the way so the door can be completely closed.

The media could not be loaded. Not sure if there's a special tool out there to install this but our contractors did not do a pretty job with this installation..as you can see. Mechanism works great though and the brass is nice and bright. Gets the job done. No lock functionality with this...that's a different piece you'll need. This is only for being able to grab a completely open sliding door.

Very effective and simple opening device. he pocket door edge pull does make a difference when closing the pocket door without having to jam fingers. The installation was easier than expected. The material is ridgid.

I'm sorry but this is NOT easy to install in a wooden door. There are NO directions. I have installed all of the hardware in my house and this is the most difficult. I usually make a template and use a router. However, to install properly it requires multiple layers and is not a simple plate. The plate actually has two levels, the hinge another and the pull that goes back in the door requires three joined holes to make it swing properly. After routing it was ALOT of chisel work to fit it properly. Not for the beginner.

Perfect simple mechanism that goes on the edge of the door to make it easier to pull out the door when fully retracted inside the pocket. Simple and elegant and does the job perfectly.

I ordered one of these in silver and it was delivered on time. There was damage to the finish at one of the screw holes that can’t be concealed by the screw. I submitted a request for replacement and the return of the original. I received the replacement tonight and there is identical damage as the original. I’m returning both and will find something else.

I have quite a few pocket doors so I wanted to try adding this door pull. The existing door pulls were broken and other replacements aren't obvious how to eject the pull, so I tried installing this door pull. It can work by itself but it doesn't lock to anything, or it can work alongside a pocket door lock. The material for the pull is stainless steel, with brushed silver metal, which is quite nice.My main issue is that the screws included are pretty small, so I got longer screws instead to install on my door. That provided me more confidence that the latch won't pull out of the door. It's a bit tough to get pull out of the latch because of the small clearance, but once the latch is out the pull is very good and guiding the door out. The price is reasonable for its material and looks.
