This is great foam for making cosplay weopons and probably armour too. It easy to work with perfect thickness and the end result was just what I wanted. Just allow some time to flatten it out with something heavy as it comes in a Roll so 24hrs on a large flat surface or the floor is an essential step before you start using it

I am in the process of making a cosplay outfit and this seems to be working great so far. I am using a standard exacto blade and a small heat gun. Most areas are very smooth, it is my first time using this so I think any bubble areas are mostly my inexperience. The cuts are clean and the forming is easy. I would recommend for anyone needing durability and easy use. It was easy to draw on, and doesn't soak up the paint too bad. I would recommend priming it though if you want vivid colours. Overall great for any of your crafting needs.

Je sais que cette mousse est idéale pour la réalisation de cosplay Arme armure car matière légère, scultable et collable facilement.Pour ma part je l'ai utilise de façon non conventionnel, comme isolent phonique, je m'en suis servi dans le caisson d'une de mes imprimantes 3D pour amélioré l'isolation en fonctionnement de cette dernière, l'avantage c'est que cette mousse ne fait 2mm d'épaisseur.

Relatively consistent smooth surface (occasional bubbles, but only a few here or there). We use in in a air-assisted fire suppression laser cutter. We get very nice, fine, clean cuts, which attests to the consistency of the material density. You must have good exhaust (CO2 and CO are byproducts of laser cutting EVA). We probably should have asked for a MSDS from the manufacturer, but as EVA is a laser-cuttable product, and we had good ventilation, we rolled the dice. No surprises. Cut well. Holds heat shaping pretty well also. I'm not sure I'd find this affordable for cosplay, but it works well for our use (noise suppression/isolation/insulation) . The thickness is consistent, the density is consistent, it cuts and shapes well. We haven't painted ours, so we can't comment on how well paint would adhere, but suspect it would hold a flexible latex well.
