Being Diabetic and older I now have really dry skin. I use a really heavy moisturizer for my feet but wanted something lighter that worked well and was not greasy or tacky. This is the best moisturizer I have ever used! It has virtually no scent ( although I do love scented stuff) and it goes on so fantastic. It soaks right in, does not leave my hands feeling greasy or tacky. It works great for my arms, legs and hands. I will be ordering this all the time. Hopefully they never change the formula.

My husband suffers from horrible crazy severe itchiness on his upper body torso and arms. Ours the kind of itchiness that makes him use a hairbrush on his skin and keeps him up at night. It seems to be linked with poor sugar control. We have tried many lotions and creams...some are too thick, too oily, sting, or are too heavily scented. This works well, keeps his skin from drying and itching. It's not greasy, or heavy and absorbs quickly. It also doesn't have any scent, which is preferable for him. It had GREATLY reduced the amount of itching. He uses it right after showering, and it seems to keep his skin from drying out. It's been a big relief for me as well, because he doesn't wake/keep me up with his complaining anymore...well, he might but he's not complaining about itching ;-)

I have very sensitive and extremely dry diabetic skin. I have tried so many diabetic lotions and most are too sticky and thick - ergo, very uncomfortable. Not all of the products that I have tried in the past worked as I wanted them to. Aveeno’s Diabetic lotion works like a champ tho! It’s not overly thick and disgusting on the skin when applied. It also gets absorbed by the skin pretty quickly and efficiently, unlike other products that stubbornly sit on your skin regardless of how long you try to massage it. It has also been the sole product that worked wonders for my extremely dry skin. I can’t live without it, so I have my amazon account set to where it automatically sends me a bottle of this every month.

I really wish we could vote with half stars as this skin lotion deserves it. I’ve been a Type II Diabetic for many years. I’ve never had any problems. I check my sugar levels two to three times a day, take my insulin religiously and watch the diet. My A1C is always coming back at six or below and I feel pretty good. I recently started noticing a change in my skin. It looked dry and had some flaking which I’ve never seen before. I did a bit of research and read an article how diabetes can cause the skin condition I was experiencing. I went to one of the many Diabetic Forums and did a bit of research there as well. The problem was the dry skin I had could be one of the many skin conditions that were listed. I decided to treat the skin as if were the Diabetic problem. I started looking up body lotions here at Amazon and came across this Aveeno Skin Relief for Diabetics’ Dry Skin Lotion. I can remember my Mom buying Aveeno lotion which she applied after doing the dishes. I thought what’s good for Mom was good enough for me. I’ll tell you right now it was an excellent choice. The first time I applied this to my arms I began to notice how fast the lotion was being absorbed. The second thing I noticed was how soft the skin became within seconds. I compared the arm with the lotion against the arm without and there was a remarkable difference. The arm with the lotion was pink where it had been a dry off white and as smooth as a baby’s butt. The difference really was noticeable. That night I coated every inch of skin I could reach. The next day I had my home health aide do the rest of my body, massage is part of the care plan, and she laughed while telling me how fast the lotion was absorbed. Now we have scheduled a lotion treatment twice a week. Two other things I noticed was the fragrance, which is not overwhelming, and the lack of being greasy. All in all I really enjoy this body lotion. So if I’m so happy with it why the loss of a half star? The size of the bottle seems rather small compared to some of the others available for sale here at Amazon. I am addicted to lotion. I've used most brands but since I was diagnosed with diabetes, I haven't found a brand that keeps my skin moisturized in our dry winters. Then I stumbled on this. It works amazingly. It's nice and thick but doesn't leave a greasy feeling. I put it on my legs after a shower in the morning and my legs are still nice and moist by bedtime. It's amazing. I highly recommend.

I'm diabetic and have been looking for a lotion that I can use on my hands, feet and legs. I've tried many and all have just felt overly greasy and didn't do much in the terms of moisturizing, even when that's what they advertise. This one has been a blessing. It doesn't, for my skin anyhow, doesn't leave the greasy feeling behind and it absorbs very well. My skin has felt better since I started using it.

I have had diabetes for 18 years and I sure wished I would have found this product earlier because it works terrific... Lather this on your skin and next thing you know your wrinkles are even disappearing off your arms and legs... I definitely would recommend this for any diabetic or anyone that has dark dry skin problems

FINALLY! A lotion truly made for dry diabetic skin! I think I've tried every brand of lotion on the market. Some brands were too greasy and didn't soak in at all. Some had such a strong fragrance people thought I was wearing perfume. Other brands worked for about 5 nanoseconds and then my skin began drying out again. Aveeno is none of those! It moisturizes for hours! It doesn't have any fragrance at all once it's rubbed in and, it really does leaves my skin soft and supple. This is my new go-to lotion for all my skin needs - face to feet!

Almost impossible to find products for diabetics.....this skin cream is very good and soothing.
