This bit worked great for drilling a hole in my cast iron well casing. I was worried when I used a regular bit which was brand new to pre drill for the piolet bit, any my regular bit broke 2 different times. I would recommend this hole saw if you need to drill in to a well casing.

Nice hole saw, better than most

Used on slow speed to cut the weld on a mild steel rod. Cut great for most of the first cut, then after starting the second 4 of the 6 teeth are missing. Could not have used it more appropriately and with ease, disappointed is unusable now with the teeth missing.

Cuts well. Hole is bigger than 1.5” by a fair amount. Not sure if what i ended up with is a metric hole since size is labeled in both scales

I used it to cut a hole in a stainless steel sink, ran into a bit of a problem because the length of the bit is not flush is thicker at the bottom and couldn’t fit all the way down a 3cm thick countertop, so I did 90% of the cutting from the top, and finished from the bottom. If the whole barrel-bit was 1/4” longer it would be perfect.

Exactly what I have been looking for a hole saw to cut holes for toggle switches! Can’t wait to get the 20mm one that’s on order also.
