I first tried this with just the rubber hose gaskets. It leaked majorly around it.Then I put a ton of pipe thread tape around it, and it still leaked.My hand felt discomfort when I installed this the first time. It was dark, so I didn't notice it was all cut up until after I got into the light. It only drew a small amount of blood, but it shows the poor quality of this.The threads are too sharp to make a good seal and not cut up a few layers of skin.Avoid this.This "MISSMIN - Garden hose to shower" adapter worked without any pipe thread tape whatsoever, didn't leak, and didn't cut up my hand.

I was limited with water sources to pressure wash my deck. Exactly what I needed to hook up a garden hose to my shower arm.
