Delighted - it was simple to put up and it looks great. The curtains slide along it easily

OK--but not with Switchbot\heavy curtain
Nothing wrong with this unit: it fits together well and is as advertised; however, i couldn't use it in the end because there was no way in which I could get the Switchbot curtain driver to run over the join. Part of this problem may have been the fact that the curtains are heavy, lined and light-excluding. So if you are looking to do something similar you may need to do what I eventually did: buy a single (not joined) pole from B and Q.
