It’s been great for baking. A little disappointed that it’s not recommended for broiler use but I understand it could break down the finish. Perfect size for my use!

The media could not be loaded.  I bought this solely for the purpose of doing water bath in the oven. It is very sturdy to hold the whole recipe of cheesecake.But then I tested it more for other purposes. Like making a crispy French fries. It requires a grill to make the heat comes from bottom to top to cooked it more evenly. Same concept that goes with baked fried chicken. Well, I did not expect much as I have failed many times trying to make the perfect French fries. But to my surprise, it came out better than I expected. Plus the potatoes did not stick on the grill at all! I was very impressed. My daughter said it tasted like McDonalds: crispy from outside, soft inside. See video.Since nothing sticks to this cooling rack, clean up is a breeze. I hand washed it and some of the grease was easily wiped away. I did air dry it, and I have not seen any rust.The downside is it is a bit pricey. But with the results I had have, this cooling rack is multi-purpose to my needs, sturdy so I will get a lot of use out of it. Take the risk like I did and see good results! I highly recommend!

I bought the 10.8 " (10.75") square rack. It is well coated for non stick action. As others say it is heavy gauge metal. And, with the bar running down it's middle it's nearly impossible to bend, even carrying it in with one hand with a heavy load (like a deep dish pie.! ) It's four Metal feet: have a 6.5 gap between them. This means it can straddle a circler 8.75" electric burner on a flat top electric range. (in case you wanted to leave your pan above a turned off yet still warm burner to keep the food inside warm without scolding it's contents. ) Note: Only the "3 Tier" comes with more than one rack per order.
