Great book for someone struggling with Maths
My son really, really struggles with Maths. I've tried the Carol Vorderman books and they don't work for him because they assume a level of knowledge behind what's written in the book. This book (fractions) covers all the bases and so far, my son is "getting it" - I am absolutely delighted and will be trying the books for other Maths areas.

Great Book!
I Bought this book for my 9 year old son who is in year 4. It is a wonderful book with very clear examples to attempt exercises. The shape descriptions to explain problems are very clear. Each chapter has a performance test which really helps my child to go over what he has learnt and test himself. These problem book series are ideal for day to day reason.

Good book
Allows practice of the different methods as required by the ks2 curriculum. We step out of the book to further different practise some of the tricks that my son isnt 100% on.

Brilliant
Really good maths books, especially for homeschooling. The explanations are really good, and has all the answers at the back.

10 yr loves working from this book
I am a great fan of Schofield and Sims. I use their maths and English resources at home with both my kids (6 and 10). They are thorough and have good explanations. The level provides enough challenge too. Price is excellent so value for money!

Well laid out
Comprehensive, well laid out pages with each topic building on the previous. Pages not too cluttered and lightly coloured. Answers are included.
