Poorly organized, subject matter not related to the test, jumps from irrelevant subject to other irrelevant subject like an AI vaguely pointed at the general topic of "electricity"

If you are going to be taking the master electrician exam, this is a great book to help make sure that you are ready for the test. There are plenty of great sample tests to help you figure out where you still need to study. I like that for each of the calculations - there are step by step instructions so that you know you are doing the math correctly.

This book clearly was written by a non electrician and non code speaking individual. There were numerous errors in the language that made many of the questions unable to be answered or even understood. Use the Mike Holt journey person Prep instead. It was a terrific guide for my Masters Exam

There is some useful information that I found in this book (calculations, electrical theory), but there is also a lot of less accurate, and also blatantly wrong info in it too. For instance, it says that EMT and RMC are the same thing, which they are not. The are about as far apart as you can get while being the same shape and both made of metal. It explains that knob and tube is a versatile system for wiring, even though it was phased out around 50 years ago. It also has practice tests with answer keys that do not line up to the questions.I'd take the other reviews here with a grain of salt, because there's no way anyone competent would give this 5 stars. There are endless typos and grammatical errors that give me the impression this was written by someone who purchased a water damaged book on electrical theory from a garage sale and watched Lowe's "how to be an electrician" videos on YouTube and thought they knew everything.

I ve been using multiple books to study for the master test and I can say that this one is bu far the most mediocre one. Is filled with useless basic info from the get go. Some of the Quiz questions are dumb or irrelevant. Is like they were trying to over simplify the content overall and end up making it useless.If you are a Journeyman who knows very little about the trade (cause you never set foot on a jobsite) then this is the book for you.

The ray holder exam prep book is WAY better.

Comprehensive preparation for the electrician exam. You can underestimate the matter thinking it's simple, instead it's a very complex exam and you need to be very prepared to be able to pass it. The topics are well explained and you can find all the required items in the exam. The most complete and up-to-date book I've found. At the end you can also find tests to assess your preparation
