After many attempts at finding the correct charger for my laptop. I finally found this one. It comes with two fittings so should fit. It doesn't spark when plugged in like my old charger did and charges my laptop at a reasonable speed.

BROKE AFTER 3 MONTHS AND DESTROYED MY BATTERY LIFE - broke immediately and barely held on for 3 months. Destroyed my brand new £600 laptop’s battery life and I DID NOT GET A REFUND. DONT BUY OR IT’LL COST YOU FAR MORE THAN £20

Robust Multi Model Laptop Charger
This charger is the correct replacement for the wife’s Acer Aspire 5 A515-55. Although the old power pack is still operating, this will be the ideal back up as it replaces the original perfectly. The build of the product feels quite robust and the mains cable feel rugged enough to withstand constant use and movement.

It did start to malfunction after 6 months, but it seems like it fixed itself.Acer Aspire A515-54 has a poor built-in socket however.
