Our 4.5-pound elderly cat adores it!
I admit I was skeptical about getting a bed for our thirteen-year-old cat -- after all, we have beds, couches, and pillows aplenty in our house, and she has no hesitation about using any of them whenever she feels like it. Rosie is ailing, however, and my six-year-old insisted on saving up her own allowance and purchasing the bed herself. It took several weeks for her to save enough, but as soon as she did we hopped online and she chose this one because it was "fancy" and not too expensive. (Kindergarteners have limited budgets, after all.)Wow, was it the right decision! The instant we pulled it out of the box, Rosie the cat creakily jumped into it. (Anyone who knows cats will understand what a big deal it is that Rosie chose the bed over a brand new box.) Even though the bed was on a hard wooden floor in the middle of our living room at that moment, she curled up inside and slept there for the next several hours, so it seems to have enough cushioning on the bottom. (Naturally we didn't move the bed during that time, middle of the floor or no, because everyone knows you don't move a sleeping cat -- especially an old, rickety one -- or else curses be upon you.)The cat bed now lives on my daughter's bed, although it often travels throughout the house, depending on where my daughter is playing. Honestly, Rosie will sleep on a pillow or on a couch or person's bed *almost* as often as she in her own designated bed, but she does love her own special spot.As for quality, I don't expect it to last for decades, but it doesn't need to. It's been a few months now, though, and the bottom and sides are still cushy and soft. The plush is comfortable, and the edges have enough firmness to hold up a sleeping cat's head while still being cushiony. Definitely one of our best investments ever! For photo reference: Rosie (grey with peach splotches) weighs about 4.5 pounds -- very small in stature and quite thin. Basil (all grey) is about 12 pounds and much longer and taller. He can fit in the bed just fine when he tries, but he's a sprawler and can take up half a couch when he feels like it. If he were much bigger he likely wouldn't fit all the way in, though some cats or small dogs might not mind that -- especially since they can rest their heads on the sides.P.S. Confession: It's fun to post photos of your cat on the internet for strangers to see. Is this what I've been missing out on all this time? I must review more cat accessories!

Christmas Kitties
My cats love them. They were their Christmas gift. They were in them 3 days straight--only out to eat and potty!!

10/10 purrfect bed for my cat
I have a 19 year old cat that I think has joint pain (It takes him a long time to lay down or get up) so I thought a soft bed might increase his comfort and HE LOVES THIS BED. He is in this bed 99% of the day and it just makes me so happy to see him laying comfortably and snoozing. I had no idea that he would love it so much because he hasn't had a cat bed for the last ten years or so, but man this bed has turned out to be his favorite thing. I was kind of worried he wouldn't use it because I'm from sunny California and I thought the fleece lining would be too hot but NOPE he lays in it even on hot days. The bed is cute, super soft, and a great size for my tabby. He is relatively skinny (as many old male cats are) but has plenty of room. If you have a 20+ pound cat or multiple cats you may want to think about a bigger bed or multiple beds because even though my cat is skinny I don't think there would be room for a second adult cat to be in the bed with him. Anyway my baby boy loves the bed and it works great for me because it contains some of his shedding and is super cute! Probably one of my most successful Amazon purchases.

Great product at a great price.
My cat Lola absolutely loves this bed as you can see by the photo. It is cozy and squishy and soft, just the way she likes it. A hint to help your pet accept a new bed is to take her old bed and rub the part where she slept onto the new bed. She will recognize her own scent and be very accepting of the new bed.

VERY SMALL!
This bed is nice for a small cat or tiny dog. I purchased it for my 15lb Lhasa Apso & it is WAY too small for him!! Please note, the inside only measures 12" round. It is the outside that measures 17-18".

Cuddly for cat, cat cuddly for me!
UPDATE: I now have 2 of these! One is on the LR sofa because both cats like it. On is on my bed, and allows both cats to sleep with me, even though they don’t like each other and frequently fight. After his cuddle session, the trouble maker will curl up close in this bed, while the other cat snuggles with me. I don’t know why this works when nothing else did, but I’ll recommend anything that prevents 3AM cat fights on top of me!My older cat with hip problems loves this! It is shallow enough to be easy for him to climb into it. I keep it on a corner of the bed so he is close enough to cuddle, but isn’t sleeping on top of any of my wide variety of sore spots. He weighs 12 1/2 lbs and has plenty of room.

I originally bought this for our 14 year old cat who I thought would enjoy this more than my pillow or sleeping behind our couch, but nope. He still prefers my pillow or the laundry basket. However, our 4 year old long haired cat took to it right away and won't get out of it. As I type this, he's curled up in it. He LOVES IT. Highly recommend, he's an adorable shedding nightmare, The longer he sleeps in that the longer he stays away from my pillow. Hooray!

I ended up buying another, but they are cheaply made
Cute, soft, dog likes it. I ordered the 18" and there is room enough for another dog her size to squeeze in too. She is 6lbs.The bottom is a slightly thicker more coarse material that helps it not skip around. It is not the most amazing quality, thus the 4 stars and not 5.EDIT:8 months in and my dog really likes this bed. I got another one for my partner's house so that she can have one at each place. It is her special bed and she loves it. The original bed is holding up fine (8 months) but we have only had the newer one for 2 months and there is a hole between the bolster and the bottom pad section. Her little foot slips through sometimes. It does not seem to bother her, but I notice it.
