A convenient, versatile and very useful tripod mountable Smart Camera Phone holder. The unit also features a cold shoe mount for such items as an LED light, or a microphone etc. The holder can be rotated 360 degrees on the vertical plane, ( See my images ). This is achieved by slackening, adjusting and tightening the round thumb screw at the rear side of the unit. Also there is a round spirit level bubble to make it easy to get the camera phone perfectly level. The two rubber grips are turquoise in colour and have a pleasing look against the black plastic construction of the unit. There are two female quarter inch threaded screws, back and bottom. Holds a mobile phone securely to the top of my tripod. Easy to fit, quite sturdy and the cold shoe fitting fits the light that I have.

I got the "mount holder w/ clamp" version of this as it greatly helps flipping from vertical to horizontal video shooting.What I like:It takes both my S21 Ultra and my partner's iPhone 13 Pro Max, and still has about a 1cm/0.4in of margin. It also just about holds the weight of these phones without tilting if the screw at the back is on tight.The jaws are wide enough that I do not need to remove the case of any of my phones, and that includes a pretty thick one on my son's iPhone XS MaxThe shoe mount at the top where accessories can be fitted, provided that they are not too heavy of courseThe clamping mechanism is not too hard to open wide while not being loose to the point of not holding the phone. It may sound trivial, but having someone suffering from arthritis in the house I can tell you it makes a difference with some other phone holders I had in the pastWhat I'm not so sure about:The longevity, it's all plastic and that's ok for the price, but I'm a bit worried with the rotating knob in particular. I can easily imagine the plastic around the threads breaking off if screwed on too tight. Which can be a bit tricky when having my heavy phones on it, as I need to really wind it good or the phone will slowly start rotating until the knob comes loose

I have bought this holder again as I’ve gifted the first one to a friend wanting to start their own Youtube channel.It works as advertised, allows me to stick my Iphone 7 into it with ease and stabilise my footage.I found that for walking shots you should tighten the knob as much as possible to avoid a bit of shake of the holder.You can also take it off and screw just he holder onto your tripod to eliminate the shake altogether.

It’s ok came a couple of days early. The four springs hold the phone in tight so the phone won’t jump out in a hurry. The only down side is the bracket that enables you to turn it from a horizontal to a portrait format is a bit on the flimsy side that was the only thing wrong with it.

It’s good I will make sure I put it to good use

Brilliant phone clamp really nice quality and at a great price. As you can see it has a small level which makes lining up shot easier and it can easily be changed to suit the orientation you need it in.

Helps this octogenarian to take photos with ease, no more catching the wrong button when holding the phone directly.I think the clamp spring could a bit stronger especially when used outdoors.
