Affordable and my husband said these really help with his hallux rigidus.

*Update* I needed a rock plate of some sort to take away the pain of feeling large rocks on challenging hikes. These were a quick and economical solution. You might have to change to lightweight socks or change top insole because the plate with take away volume in your shoes. I'll change my review after an upcoming weekend camp out, good or bad. Walking on the rocky trails were good for what I needed them to do. 12 hours on my feet my forefoot was getting sore and tired in these. Changed for a thicker insole, and felt better. Still a good solution.

This is the first time buying one of these carbon inserts, so far they are working great in my rocker bottom sneakers. I wear a (US) women's size 9, and the size 9-9.5 seems to fit well. There is a slight gap at the heel, but it is within the range of 1/4-1/2 inches recommended by the seller - they don't slide. When sizing, I measured the length of the insole, then converted it to mm to get a better visual.Pros: Seems durable. There is some flex in the center due to the contouring in my sneaker. It doesn't bother me - in fact the extra springiness feels good on my arches! There is no flexion where it counts, under my big toe! Instant pain relief for a great price!Cons: The flex makes my shoes squeak. In a noisy environment it isn't very noticeable. A shoe with a roomier toe box might mitigate this.Overall, I recommend and would buy again!

I am 6’5” and 250 pounds. They really work well as rock guards. I use these in my trail running and hiking shoes to protect my feet from rock bruising. These are super thin but very stiff and strong. I’ve bought several pairs of these for different trail running/hiking shoes. I’ve used these for 3+ months and they show no signs of wear yet.

I bought these on the recommendation of my doctor after I broke my foot. After I was out of the boot, these really helped take the pressure off my foot and aid in the healing process. One thing I didn't love was that the insert didn't fit perfectly in my shoe, leaving space at my toes where they hung off the insert. That part wasn't the most comfortable, but they helped either way.

I was unable to wear these with my shoes, so it was a waste of money. It was not comfortable.
