Great product
Iām so glad I got this. I may end up getting another one. I was having a problem with my baby chicks, not being able to reach the food, but this is just the right height.

Junk
The lid does not fit at all. Disappointing. Had to send it back.

SHORTER THAN EXPECTED & Cups wont stay put
update: after having this for a couple of weeks now, Its a bit too flimsy. The orange part they put their heads in will not stay tight. they are easily knocked loose so that they turn and cannot be used by the hens. That also releases the water proof seal so if it rains when they are loose then you will lose your feed too. Def not worth the price...The Got this for my hens, aluminum is rather thin but works. The lid is a heavier plastic though, was disappointed in that as its advertised as being "rodent" proof.Went with this model as it had a stand that came with it. Stand is sturdy but SHORT. Would work for bantams but full size chickens have to bend down weird to access the feed. Going to put it up on something a little taller for my flock.

Attractive, keeps food dry but not the most functional
Putting the feeder together is easy; insert the orange spout feeder cups in put the frame together and fill it. It is attractive and with it being raised it does help to keep the feeder clean of sand/dirt. I set the feet on top of bricks to elevate it to a better height for the chickens. There are some design flaws however. The orange feeder ports are set too low to actually seat the box into the stand. Instead the box kind of "rocks" within the stand, resting on the lower edge of the two end feeder ports. (photo)The shape is also somewhat of an issue; the crumbles actually near the port holes feed into the cups but all the crumbles in the back go nowhere. Every few days I go and push the crumbles forward so it can get to the cups. Defeats the purpose of the feeder in being useful for more than a few days at a time. Though the chickens like to sit on it because it's flat and wide, there's not enough gravity to get all the feed where it needs to be.All said, it is not useless. The lid does fit tight, the feeder can be secured with covers for the holes to keep rats out at night and the materials have done well so far. It is relatively sturdy. If you don't mind pushing the food to the ports every few days it's worth having. I would not use it say if you were going away for a week and were depending on it to feed the chickies but for every day use it's nice. I have had it for about 6 weeks.
