Cat tested, human approved
I have four cats. All four were immediately interested after I put the catnip in the fish even though it was Initially a dead (uncharged) fish. Fresh cat nip appeal I assume. Once fully charged my female cat lost interest cause everything quickly bores her but two of my male cats seem to continue to enjoy this toy periodically but more so if you play with them or remind them its there. However it was our Mekong Bobtail cat who seems to be the most thrilled and self engaged when playing with it. Plop the fish down and he stays busy for a while. This toy was easy to charge and lasted a decent amount of time before dying. The sensor appears to work as advertised, activating when touched. The noise of the motor is more obvious than I like but not a huge deal and I don’t think it bothered my cats any. The most impressive feature is that the fish when activated flops around quite convincingly like a fish out of water.Whether your cat will love this toy will likely come down to your cats personality but overall it seems like a decent well built toy.

Not the best
A mess. Kittens didn't like it, top kept falling in and making a mess. Not as easy as the videos shows. Using syringes with nipples is far better.

Nice upgrade with some room for improvement
The media could not be loaded. My cat has had a fish for for about 2 years, she really likes it and I add more catnip as needed. You can see it's the yellow one. The new one better. It looks more like a fish which is more for me than her. It also came with catnip but I wish the package was refillable. I just have lots of old catnip in her old one, having a pocket or something would be better. Also there were no instructionsYou have to charge the block inside and then it it on then zip it back up. It will immediately start but then it stops. Not sure what makes it run make on. I flop it and my cat slaps it, either seem to work. Wish there was instructions or maybe a button /switch on the outside. But in the end she likes it. I wanted to upload videos of her using it, my mom's cat glaring at it and then the fish just sitting there but I can only do one video. If your cat likes toys and things like this get it, if not avoid it. My mom's cat hated this.

Terrified my cats but I loved it
My dad conned me into getting this for my cats. I thought it was great. My cats found it horrifying. They ran for their lives soon as we were able to get it working. We had to shake ours back and forth to kick start it. We ended up giving it to our neighbor whose cat has loved it to death. It lived for about a week and is now destroyed. Pieces of fish everywhere. She will be ordering it now. I wish I had kept it because working from home is nice when my cats are hiding and not trying to turn my laptop off. I think I may end up getting another one after all.

Flopping fish
I'm always looking for new toys for my cat who gets bored quickly. He loves simulated hunting toys so I thought we'd try this out. There was a little bit of a learning curve. It's a big bigger than I imagined and I worried this would deter him. It also makes a sort of loud mechanical noise, and at first he was afraid of it, giving it little wacks with his paw to examine it. Within a few hours though he figured out it was a toy, and has enjoyed it since. I will randomly hear the noise which means he's off wacking it somewhere. I like that it has different settings, it seems to cycle through them. He likes some more that others. This is also pretty durable, he's given it some good chomps and some chews and it still looks new, which is important safety-wise. I also really like that he can trigger it on his own, and can play independently. I haven't had to recharge it yet.

Fishy
I bought this when it was on the 'Today's Deals' and it came with a pack of catnip, the fish, a charger cord (no block), and the fish! Overall the toy is cute and it came with lots of catnip but this first fish I received never worked :( We charged it all day long and it wouldn't flop. When returned the company was friendly and the new fish now works perfectly! It flops only when tapped so it's not continuous. The charge doesn't last super long so I'd say charge it daily but overall a good toy. Unfortunately, my cat doesn't care for it though haha.

Some will dig it, some won’t, but WORKS AS ADVERTISED!
Some cats will love it, some will get bored quickly, like mine. What IS good about it is that it’s triggered by engagement, so turn it on, they bat it around awhile, then leave it and it stops. Then in a few days, they bat it, it starts up, etc., so a charge lasts pretty long.If they loved it, 5 stars, because it works as advertised, if you have a kitten, this would be puurrfect, but my cats are older and a bit jaded, so..get em young!4 stars is still pretty good, right?

A fun interactive toy!
Recently I rescued a wild bird that was hurt and healed it for a few days. My cats were super into it and so I went on the hunt to find something that had movement and was engaging. I saw in a cat group, that a lady had this toy and I fell in love. It reacts to movement. It flails around and it isn’t too loud.So I have 3 cats. The one who is the most interested is actually my LEAST playful. She’s an old lady rescue with no claws and I am so happy to have a toy she finally likes.Your cat will like this if it has hunting instincts, if it likes movement, if it likes sound (I think that’s why she likes it the most, not many toys have movement and sound), and if it likes overplay play.I wish it would come in cute colours but overall I’m super happy with it.
