I'm not sure why I went so long pounding my meat with pots, pans, rolling pins, or whatever large item I could find..this thing works great! I was super surprised by the heft and durability of this mallet, given the great price. 10/10 recommend.

Love the weight. It's perfect for pounding the meat. I used to have a wooden one but wasn't able to clean it like I can this one.

Solid piece of kitchen tool and super easy to use.Love this Mallet. It does a terrific job tenderizing and flatting out cutsof meat for recipes. This hammer has a nice weight - not too heavy or too light -that works well when prepping small cut of meats. A very comfortable grip tohold even when wet.The grooved side did a magnificent job tendering some veal chops that mademy cooking process so easy. Loving it indeed and this is a great value for yourkitchen.
