Amazing Invention
The way those sand grains swell up into precise rubbery pellets! The speed and velocity they are shot from the gun! But be aware: There is no single shot and hits do hurt some teens more than others - in our snowflake community we changed to actual water guns...

Not a toy, really needs adult supervision
So, firstly, have a plan with the gell balls. They go everywhere, I'm sure we'll be finding them in the kitchen for months. You really only need prepare a small fraction of a sachet at a time or you'll be over run.Once your ammo is prepared and the battery is charged, everything fits together quite convincingly.Have to admit I was quite shocked at the velocity the gell balls come out of this thing. We have an old steel drum in the garden and I hit it with no issues from about 15 yards away. It was still traveling fast enough to make a very convincing "PANG!!" noise.I decided to shoot myself, just to see whether it is something I'd put in the hands of the average 12 year old. I'm not a woose, but it stang. I wouldn't want to get hit in the face with one. Yes, there is superficial eye protection on the box, but I wouldn't want to risk my eyesight to test it. This really needs a sensible and mature adult in charge. Heaven forbid anyone would be stupid enough to point it at an animal.Apart from that, it seems very accurate and it throws the balls out at a fair old rate. I haven't really seen how much use you get out of the battery, so I can't attest to that.I can see this being a lot of fun with a few friends, some decent eye protection and somewhere you can dash about in the woods and not get in anyone else's way with it.
