This was SO much fun! We bought it to try it for our family Xmas, and we were super excited to have a game all 12 adults could play together. It definitely got competitive and made some memories for us to share!We bought fancy poker chips to go with it so we didn't have to gamble actual money. But next Xmas we do plan to bring some pocket change to put on the line.Can't say enough about how gorgeous the board is and the pieces are excellent quality as well - especially considering most other sets have ugly plastic pieces and a cheesy looking board for just a bit less in price. This is 100% worth a few extra dollars and still feels like a great value.It was such a nice set we gifted it to my in-laws and then plan to buy one for ourselves!

Nice, rich looking board, nice heavy horses not like some flimsy ones I've seen. We play for money & it's fun. It's a fast game too, can play several rounds back to back. Only thing we changed is instead of playing for .5, .10, .15 & .20 we use all quarters & play for .25, .50, .75 & 1.00, easier that way.

This game is fun and easy for all ages. My kids play it with their grandparents and everyone enjoys it. You could also play with adults and bet real money if you wanted to.

This game is solid wood. The instructions inside are bad but it is easy to find a video on youtube that explains gameplay. I did have to grind some extra metal off of one of the pegs of one of my horses to make it fit the holes well. That is the reason I gave this 4 stars. Gameplay and quality otherwise is really great and my family has a ton of fun with this game.

I was fortunate to play this game at a work event and it was so fun I purchased it on a whim. I wasn't sure if my family or friends would feel the same but boy I was wrong! Two game nights during the holidays and it's now a new event! We have a horse racing adult game night - IT WAS So fun!!!

The quality of the board and pieces is amazing. Sturdy and heavy duty.
