These hiking pants are quite good with some nice features and a few minor flaws but get the job done for summer weather outdoor activities. The light nylon type material has some good stretch and flex with good water repellent, spilled water easily rolling off and an extra benefit is that dirt and dust doesn't cling to fabric when taking a dusty trail along the American River. Very good breathability and wicking properties in hot weather but may not be as suitable in cold weather because of the light fabric. These pants are quite light in weight and don't show much wrinkle which make it ideal for travel and I can easily pack four or five of these in a standard size carry on luggage with plenty of room to spare. The one negative that I really hate are that none of the many pockets are very deep and so larger phones can easily fall out and the right side lower pocket is not great spot for many items such as keys or wallet which fall out easily if you don't zipper up. The good thing is all 6 pockets have zipper.

I bought these pants for a recent trip to Germany. The expected temperatures were to be in the 15-25 degree range and I wanted something that would keep me warm as I planned to be outside for extended periods of time. Thees pants worked great. They kept me warm and dry even in snowy and light rain conditions. I was outside 5-8 hours a day and these pants kept me warm and comfortable. When the temperature dropped below 20 degrees I wore them with 32 degree brand long johns for a little extra warmth although I think they would have been fine without them. My only complaint is that they were a little large in the waist. I wear 32x32 pants but these 32x32 pants were a little loose in the waist and tended to fall down without wearing a belt even with my shirt tucked in. The came with a belt so it wasn't a big deal. Overall I am pleased with the performance of these pants. They served me well during my 2 week trip to Germany.

Comfortable. Really like the stretch fit - I can leave the zipper up and waist buttoned so all I need to do is slip them on and tighten the belt. Wears like lounge wear in the house but just right for outside. Have to get used to all the zippers but overall these are perfect, especially for spring and fall weather. The material these are made of is VERY DURABLE. I own a pair of shorts made of the same material and I got road tar on them. Used gasoline, then soaked in Dawn before washing - stains GONE and material is still like new. I was amazed!

Not sure about being good as "work" pants depending on your job--construction No. Decent colors available. Nice cut which tapers in the legs but is roomy enough. Good number of pockets. Liked that it came with a thin nylon belt.
