Nice twin lights that can be adapted to a variety of landscaping uses
These lights work nicely and, depending on your application, they do not require a fancy transformer for landscape lighting. With a few additional parts from Amazon, I adapted these spotlights for the lighting of a weathervane on a cupola (see pictures). The amount of light they produce is ideal for the lighting of the weathervane. No matter what the use though, if you don't have a landscape transformer you can take a 12V, 2amp, AC-DC power supply adapter (a simple power adapter plug) and after cutting off the DC plug, just attach the two wires to the wires from the lights. There were no polarity issues, and one adapter powers both lights quite well.Many landscape applications seem to require an extension for the light that mounts on a solid surface, but almost nobody makes an extension mount that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. These lights can be used for an extension mount (see pictures) because they have 1/2" NPT threads at their base. I combined the lights with a 1/2" NPT female-female coupling found here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B077NDP776?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1, together with extension rods https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000V57VJM?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1 , and a mounting plate https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0C8MFK5K1?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1 . Unfortunately I was unable to find all the parts in the same color, but they are all relatively dark colored, and from a distance the difference is not noticeable.

Works great for tree lighting
My only complaint (which isn't an issue with the product) is that they are slightly brighter than I wanted. Great for tree lighting, might be a bit bright for house spotlighting. Construction is very very good, not the cheap lightweight plastic of most units.

450 Lumens my foot
Dimmer than the solar lights I replaced. The 420 lumen lights in my yard are 10x brighter.

The sloped shade is not parallel to the hinge
The sloped shade is not parallel to the hinge. Still works but looks weird. Probably just got a bad one.

Small but Mighty
Was pleasantly surprised on how bright these lights were for low wattage. Used to uplight my front trees. I like the metal stakes and included waterproof wire connectors. Much cheaper than the big box stores
