Those sharp eyed amongst you might spot the initial problem I encountered out of the box...Other than the missing l key cap there were multiple brackets that needed to be bent back into position, some surface rust, and the price is insane. Go on Facebook marketplace or eBay because even doing some light repairs to a real typewriter you bought for like 50$ is light-years ahead of anything this thing can do.

They say that these are "new" and made to look like they are old. I'm not certain that I buy that, but perhaps. But my unit after taking a month to get to me, couldn't hold paper, the margins were set very wide as to be able to only write on 1/3 of the paper and no way to adjust them. Typing was ok, but any capital letter was dropped down an entire line... Wrapped back up and returned for refund.

See comments from other reviews. All of the negatives are accurate. First negative product received from Amazon. Missed return window by one day, but do not prefer returns anyway. Simply will look mor first to local or proven products from actual dealer websites in future.

Opened it, everything was filthy, did not even see it it worked, put it right back in the box and send it back
