Bought this because I didn’t want the Dyson price and I’m pretty impressed.I’d read and watched a lot of reviews and was hopeful but ready to be disappointed a bit, but overall I’m super pleased with my purchase.I have hair that retains curls pretty well. The curling attachments work fairly well but either I need to increase the heat setting (I did highest air speed, lowest heat) and/or hairspray to really make them last. The curls come out nice! To avoid changing out the attachments (there’s one for each side of your head), I stick with one and just use the device upside down on the opposite side, much like I’d use a metal curling wand.What I will say is that, yes, the overall weight is a *little* more than anticipated (at least for the curling attachment) but not so much to deter me. The air is loud, but not too much louder than your standard hair drier. It bugs me more with the curl attachment, but keep in mind that you’re accustomed to a silent curling process with a standard curling iron, so it’s a different experience.I also use the paddle brush and round brush attachments to help me blow out my hair, they work about the same as a Revlon Hair drier brush or other air brush.I also have naturally curly hair (2b-3a) and the diffuser attachment works great. It also has a latch to change the diffuser pin length to accommodate long and short hair/roots.I like having three temperature settings and three air speeds, it’s definitely a plus and is valuable to me. I think it’d be a lot lower of a rating in my book if it only had one temperature/speed or even 2.Overall, I think this is a great value if you’re not looking to pay the Dyson price! Gave it 4 stars simply because of the minor quirks of volume and weight; but again, keep in mind that it is a different product application from older styling products.

I bought this tool after my hair professional recommended it. I had given my hair a break from all heat for months and wanted to maintain the benefits. Today I went from wet hair (wrapped in a hair towel for a few minutes) to completely dry AND curled in 10 minutes!! It took 2 minutes so damp dry my hair then switched to the curlers for the last 8 minutes. I literally put a stop watch on. My hair is long and fine. Usually curls drop after awhile especially on a rainy day like today, but not these. I’m so impressed!

Just like many others, the Dyson was not in my price range but I still wanted something like that. The shark did it for me!! I love all of the attachments. The actual blow dryer may be a little long and big, but it works for me. This thing dries my hair so fast and I’m obsessed with the curling attachment. I feel like I can get a quick curl without much effort, especially once you get the hang of it. Amazing dryer. Maybe would have liked a case with it, but I love it.

I was very hesitant to spend so much money on a hair styler because I have long hair that’s so thick my stylist hates me. I’ve literally broken other hair stylers on the first use just trying to get them through my hair.This actually works!! I went from fresh out of the shower, this product still in the box, to dried and curled hair in 31 minutes. Now that I’ve used it a few times I can do wet hair to curled in about 25 min. It was very intuitive to learn and easy to master. I’m looking much more professional with way less effort!

UPDATE: I'm updating my original 3 star review to 4 after using this product for almost 3 months now. I have very fine hair and it was much longer when I bought this tool. I've since had it cut to short to medium length and it made a huge difference. The curls hold and actually last until the next day with no product. Still can't get the hang of the brush attachments, not crazy about having to switch curling attachments for each side, and still feel like it's cumbersome, but my hair has not looked this good in a long time and I can dry and style it in under 15 minutes which is definitely worthy of another star. Still not a miracle product, but glad I didn't return it.ORIGINAL REVIEW: Maybe this is not the tool for my hair type - medium to long and very fine. I read all reviews and watched many tutorials on Youtube before buying this. For me, it's not the miracle product hyped by so many. I will admit that I love how fast it dries my hair but other than that I find it to be awkward, cumbersome and time consuming to use. I don't like constantly having to turn it on and off and switch to different attachments. It takes up too much space in my small bathroom. It doesn't do a good job curling my hair as the curls fall out before I'm even done and there's no way to curl your hair and leave the ends straight. Also, definitely don't recommend using it on highest heat setting -I could smell my hair burning. All in all, I can do a faster and much better job styling my hair by blow drying and then using a 1-1/4" curling iron on it.

Coming from a person who has used both the revlon round brush dryer & the cheap knock off dyson I say this is worth it, if you are wanting a Dyson but don’t want to shell out that amount of money.Pro- fast, powerful, has the same tech for making a blown out curl.Con- buttons could be closer together, needs a longer hair attachment or just 1 singular barrel for curling which can do both ways, & you have to hold the cold shot for a little longer to actually feel it.Never used a real Dyson, but used the knock off which I do not recommend gets too hot & after prolonged use it shorted out. Also using a revlon it’s a good thing for beginners to actually get the hang of trying to get a good blow out with a slight curl but it’s always hot no real temp control & if you are wanting a true cool down to set your curl you will need a standard hair dryer to actually set it. The shark has the power & the comfortability all in one.

Tenia muchas ganas de adquirír el producto y por fin me decidí. El producto cumple con lo que menciona, sin embargo en mi caso como tengo mucho cabello me tardé más en hacer las ondas y pasado un par de horas se me bajaban. La segunda vez me puse mousse antes de usar el airwrap pero de igual forma no me duraron. Yo suelo hacerme ondas con la plancha así que para mi es más rápido hacerlas con la plancha qué con el shark... Por lo cual decidí devolver el producto, mucho dinero para no estar al cien convencida.

Vale totalmente la pena la inversión, facilita el peinado y lo haces en muy poco tiempo. Yo que no soy muy hábil con las herramientas de peinado, con la estás estoy encantada.
