Q: What is the ratio of black tea to the yerva mate in this mix?

Short answer: it depends and few people know. I asked that very question during my tour of the Celestial Seasoning facility in Boulder Colorado years ago. I was told that the approximate ratio is proprietary and it varies depending on the strength and blends of the Yerba Maté - all hail the blend master! Having made many cuia of Chimarrão in-and-from Brazil's Gaucho country, I understand the difficulty of standardizing the flavor between batches and seasons of the Yerba Maté...Morning Thunder has consistent flavor and brew color from bag-to-bag as well as box-to-box!

According to the description - A Case of six boxes, each box containing 20 tea bags (total of 120 tea bags).

Q: How strong is the vanilla flavor?

Medium; Not too strong, not too weak. Its my favorite tea now!
