Alot for the money.
I used it the first day . Just in time to finish my painting. I love it. Well made. And the brushes are very nice.

Stabilizer clamp doesn’t allow for 5 x 7 or 8 x 10
Besides not being able to accommodate and hold fast a 5 x 7 or 8 x 10 canvas or board…the canvas board they sent can only be used in the portrait position and not in a landscape position. I can make an adjustment block to assist me, but it would be nice if they made it so the slider came down to accommodate both 5 x 7 and 8 x 10 …or even the canvas board they sent in the landscape position. It is well-made however, and the adjustable height and angle is a plus.

It got me started
This set helped me to find out if I wanted to paint. After 5 paintings I upgraded to better brushes and a big easel. My kids now use it. It is a great set to find out if painting is for you.

Great size
Sturdy wood and well made. Got only 4 stars because I wish there was a way to lock it in place rather than just depending on just staying at the angle you place it. Sometimes it slips while painting on it and I have to brace it to keep it in place. Otherwise it is great
