ADORABLE
This was not as easy as I thought it would be. I’m not sure if I would say it is for beginners but if you push through and take the time to do it right, it is worth the effort! I made this little guy for my 5 month old niece and am absolutely in love with the little guy!

Not Easy to Understand but Completed
Triceratops Review: Overall, I was able to complete the Triceratops dinosaur. Which was great, however the written instructions were hard to follow which made getting the stitch counts to add up to be equal to their stitch counts difficult at times. The woman on the video crocheted very fast and I had to slow the video down to half speed. It was nice to have a video and written instructions as I did have to resort to using both at multiple times. I would give this one a 3/5 stars.Blue Dinosaur (T-Rex) Review: First, stitch counts are wrong, it is even written wrong in the video. One row says 12 single crochets and in the video she only does 8 single crochets in the video. There is only room left in that row for 8 single crochets. This row throws off the whole written pattern, so I suggest following the video. Sometimes the video was not centered and you could not see what she was doing, so the video was hard to follow at times. The yarn had a knot halfway through to join two pieces of yarn. so I had to crochet through that yarn knot.Yarn quality was very nice, tools were great, everything was included. The kit was complete, but it could use better instructions, especially if it is geared towards beginners. Very cute kits, but not as easy as I thought they'd be due to instructional issues.

Not for beginners as advertised
The kit is fine, it comes with all of the things that you need to make the little triceratops. The problem is, you don't receive any kind of instructions that are written. If you scan the QR code that is included on the card in the box, it takes you to a third party video on YouTube which begins not with stitch instructions, but rather very quick instructions with the assumption that you know what the hell a chain stitch is. I'm a little surprised these are getting a lot of good reviews, considering the fact that they are specifically labeled for beginners and are not taught that way.

Great for beginners
The yarn feels good and the kit is great. I like the book that comes with it, the yarn is wrapped very neatly and doesn't unravel during the learning process. This kind of yarn is soft and easy to weave. My daughter and I are very interested in this.
