I had an existing clock and the mechanism had failed. So after carefully checking the dimensions i was extremely pleased that when the item arrived everything fit perfectly. Delivery was excellent

I fitted the motor quickly and easily - it’s not difficult! However, it has stopped working after 3 days. Changed the battery to check it wasn’t that. Maybe it’s just a faulty unit but wouldn’t by this brand again!!

This clock movement is supplied in a brown box along instructions and a mounting plate which is optional. It is designed to replace an existing movement rather than for clock building. This is a review of the thread length: 9/32 inch（7mm) but two other shaft lengths are offered on the listing.I am assuming the model supplied does not support a second hand but this is not clear in the instructions or the listing. This is not an issue for me as my clock does not have one but may need clarity for others. It is further compounded as it does not include clock hands and so you need to ensure the ones on the movement you are replacing are compatible, and they are not all the same.The movement fitted snugly into my clock and I managed to get the hands to fit although I did have to pack the minute hand. No battery is supplied but the movement requires a single AA battery to operate. It has a very quiet tick and has kept good time to date. At nearly £10 this was expensive but the recent price drop to less than £8 has made this more competitive for the 9/32 inch option only.

Het uurwerk van onze oude klok heeft het begeven. Dit was dus het juiste alternatief. Let wel op welk verbinding en lengte het origineel moet hebben. Er zijn verschillende uitvoeringen beschikbaar van 12888 model.
