Screws that came with this weren’t long enough.

Could find hook that would work until found this one its great because you don't have to keep setting gun down you can continue to work because of hook.

Was tired of having to balance my Hitachi NR90AD on ladders or having to set on the ground. Thought this hook would be a very nice upgrade to save some time and the risk of it falling front heights. The description said it was supposed to fit this gun but the bolt holes were slightly off. I had to modify the hook to make it fit. I'm stuck with the product not that I have altered it so I guess I'm in it for the long haul. Hopefully everything works out but it sure would have been nice to just been a direct fit.

While this product is advertised to work with the NR83A5 model of Nailer or similar I found with easy modification it will work with the classic NR83A2 Nailer. The hook is strong and securely fastens to the Nailer with 3 screws. Screws are included in the package but are shorter than the screws originally in the gun, so I used the original screws. You can place the hook on either side of the gun to meet your needs. The size and shape of the hook does not impede the use of the tool. The modification I needed to make was to sand/grind off the center circle since it hit the radius casting of the gun at the air connection. I would say I removed about a sixteenth of an inch at the location it hit to allow the bracket to sit firmly on the gun. Once that was done the product attached with the 3 screws easily. It is a very useful item since these guns are heavy and being able to hang them on the rafter while working is great. It also allows you to hang the tool on your tool belt while working on a ladder. I recommend this product.

Why take apart your nail gun and have zero flexibility with mounting save your money

I don't have a metabo, so I was able to rig it up and make it work on my Porter Cable. Makes it a lot easier than always reaching around for wherever you set the nail gun down last.

Fastening holes don’t match metabo crown stapler would have to drill out new ones to fit

Did not fit even when tryed to customize. Don't waste your money read the Reviews. I didn't. 8(
