Beko MOF20110X Solo Microwave with Digital Programmer, 20 Litre, 800 W, Stainless Steel [Energy Class A]

I bought this to replace my 15 year old Sanyo microwave that finally gave up the ghost and I have not been disappointed by it. I loved the look of it in the photos and it's just as nice in reality too, the brushed stainless steel look would fit most kitchens. The door is very mirror like but once it's in use you can see what's going on inside. It has the more modern door closure that securely closes and does not require a heavy button to be pressed as my old one did and I like that, you can child lock it too which is a bonus. It has a smaller footprint than my previous one and is reasonably compact in size and sits on a shelf nicely with enough space behind it but it does occasionally move a little if opened too forcefully but that's not an issue for me as it never moves enough that it would fall off.Although the stated 20l capacity is the same as my old Sanyo, In use it fits a standard dinner plate but the space surrounding is not enough for me to use the old plate covers that overhang a plate by a few millimetres so that may be something to consider when purchasing, I just replaced them for slightly smaller ones with less overhang.In use it's quite easy to get the hang of quickly, for actual cooking it has various presets which to be honest I never use and never did with my previous one either so I can't comment on their usefulness. It has a quick start by pressing the "Start" button which starts cooking at full power in increments of 30 seconds per press, as did my old one so all is good there. If programming it you first select the power setting and can then use the rotary knob to change power levels press the "Start" button and then move on to incrementing time with the knob, which for less than a minute this goes up in 5 second steps but after that and up to 5 minutes it is in 10 second steps. I would have liked it to be in 5 seconds steps up to 5 minutes which is the only real downside here for me.Also you can't set 2-step cooking unless the first step is defrosting which is a bit weird as a lot of ready meals require you to stir or add water half way through and this can't be set for that, you have to program it both times.The only minor niggle I have with it is that my old Sanyo would give a second set of beeps one minute after finishing cooking (which is the standard "resting" time before being able to eat) and I actually miss that functionality otherwise this is a good looking and easy to use microwave for the price.

Good, simple to use microwave. Seems to be a generic design so most of the controls are familiar.Fairly small so doesn't take up much space and looks half decent. Good value for money, no frills and does its job!

I'm very happy with this product. I've found it was worth the money.So far it's very easy to use, and to clean and it's relatively stylish at the same time (it is still a microwave though).What more could you want?

super microwave - easy to use. I had read about it slipping on a surface from a previous review - it does so I placed safety feet on it.

The media could not be loaded.  It works well but as you can see from the video not long before it shows major signs of rust at the door but also in 3 places on the floor.

I needed a microwave with approximately 30cm depth so this fit the bill. Really nice looking, easy to use, lots of programmes. Ignore other reviews where the beeping is marked as a negative...it beeps, it's not an issue.

Bought this to complement my grey kitchen. It looks lovely but it really is small. I can fit a dinner plate in it, but a bag of popcorn will not turn once it has popped. If I’d purchased a microwave in the shop, I would have chosen a bigger one. Other than the size, it is easy to use and works well.

Die Mikrowelle kam aus dem Vereinigten Königreich ..Also Anleitung in englisch, Rechnung war über anderen Betrag ausgestellt und die angegebenen Maße bezogen sich nicht auf die Mikrowelle (ich hatte mich für die Mikrowelle entschieden, weil ich glaubte, sie habe die angegebene Höhe) sondern auf die Verpackung. Das Schlimmste aber war, dass der Stecker natürlich nicht in Deutschland passt. Musste also einen Elektriker benühen, der mir einen deutschen Stecker anbaute.Also nicht nocheinmal.
