upgrade my mongoose free wheel
My Malus was essentially a flat terrain bike shaped object and now with a mega range granny gear i can take it on rolling trails, still plan to go to a lower tooth count front ring but a great start.

Replaced a Suntour freewheel that had issues.
I have a long wheel base recumbent that had a Suntour freewheel with the same 34tooth low gear. The Suntour would click on the chain in fifth gear as I was pedaling. I suspected it was because of runout in the sprocket so on a whim I decided to try this Shimano gear and now it's quiet again.I liked the more even spacing on the Suntour but this one has the same high and low teeth count but with a large jump from second to first. The remaining 6 sprockets are much closer together which is less useful with all the hills around here.Quality wise the Shimano freewheel is fine.

Perfect for hilly areas
My folding bike came originally with a 13-28T. This 14-34T is a little slower but I needed the 34T to be able to conquer some hills in the area. May be a 32T was all I needed, who knows, better safe than sorry.
