Q: Is this good for a 290lbs guy?

It will depend on what you are doing with it. Does your vehicle have enough support underneath it to handle the weight? The Ram flat floor system looks a little flimsy to handle large weights. Check with Ram. As for the mattress itself, not a lot of padding. If I wanted to sleep on it, I would add an inflatable pad on top of it. For my dog, and loading luggage, it is perfect. It fits my Ram 3500 very well.

Q: Does the truck mattress come with a side door protector? It looks like some customers have bought the product and they didn't get the side piece.

I got a small one. You may want to buy separate side door protectors from another vendor to add to it.

Q: Can I use this for my mini van (Toyota Sienna)?

Not sure ,you may want to measure your van and compare It works great for my 2021 Dodge Ram 2500 But it is awsome

Q: Would it work for a ram quad cab?

We use ours in a 2018 ram 2500 quad cab
