Best value for money on Amazon
The kit is absolutely spot on 👌The adjustable heat setting is a god send for soldering various items from motherboards to led lighting straps and precision soldering is easy as 123 with the interchangeable headsThe wire cutter works perfectly and cuts clean everytimeThe solder sponge and stand are quality and are a must have if you want to keep your iron clean and undamagedThe only downfall to this kit is no soldering flux but for the price I feel like it gives you more than enough for your money

Ideal for those fiddly soldering jobs
Love the ease of use, the assortment of accessories and the compact storage case. I also purchased a magnifying glass on a stand, which was a godsend for those fiddly little soldering jobs.

It’s not bad for the price
I bought this to replace my long serving iron, which has mysteriously vanished, along with all of it’s associated equipment. As I no longer do a lot of soldering, I thought a small kit would suffice until my original turns up (if it ever does). The carry case is great for portability and keeping all your relevant equipment together, so that’s a positive. The iron itself gets hot enough though the enclosed solder doesn’t seem to be the best and perhaps a small tub of flux should also be included in the kit, to compensate for this. I had some difficulty in tinning cable ends, using the solder from the kit! If you don’t already have flux available, I suggest you add it to your shopping list. Also, the power light isn’t as visible as it should be. The small LED, inside the body of the iron, is very muted. The bits come in various shapes and sizes for different soldering applications and are easily interchangeable over the ceramic rod, which itself doesn’t seem that robust and is a little flexible. Maybe that’s the way things are made these days. The temperature adjuster is a small plastic disc which is held in place by a small + shaped insert and the temperature guide is just a sticky label. I’m not sure how long that will last nor how accurate it is (This is born out by the estimated min./max. temperatures in the product description. The stand is annoying. Having put it together, the spring shaped holder kept revolving in its hole. I’ve rectified this with a couple of extra M4 nuts but perhaps a couple of lock washers should be included in the kit to help keep it in place. As the iron has very little weight, the stand is also very lightweight but there is enough there to prevent it from tipping over. It should be noted that the iron should be rested on the holder and not forced into it, as the diameter of the iron is much less than that of the holder. My previous holder had a PTFE insert which held the iron in place. The “Solder sucker” isn’t the same quality as my old Soldapullt but it seems to work satisfactorily. The kit would also be improved by the inclusion of some solderwick. If you’re going to sell a soldering iron kit, you might as well sell everything you’ll probably need in it. I personally, wouldn’t mind paying a little extra for the added convenience. If you’ve been looking for a soldering iron kit, on Amazon, then you’ll know that the kits are very generic and it’s just the quantity of items available that differ along with the price. I took a chance on this one as it had no reviews but it looked identical, to many that had.In summary, this 60W iron is ok for small, lightweight electronic jobs or small gauge wiring. I don’t think it has the ooomph for much bigger soldering jobs.Whilst I’m not “over the moon” with my purchase, for the reasons I’ve listed above, it will suffice for the small jobs I have to do at the moment. To be fair, the price is pretty reasonable as well.
