Be sure you measure correctly
Through my own fault I ordered the wrong size ferrule but my husband managed to make it fit bu fitting the new one over the old plastic ferrule that was already on my walking stick and luckily for me it was great. So now I have a sturdy rubber bottom on stick and it’s so much safer than the plastic one.

Amost Everlasting Ferrules!
These ferrules are made from an extra tough polymer plastic rather than standard rubber. This means that they take a VERY long time to wear out! I have used one of the ferrules regularly for over a year, sometimes on very rough terrain, and there is only about one millimetre wear. Because the polymer material is shiny when new, it is a good idea to roughen the end face with abrasive paper to take the shine off. This should help to reduce the danger of slipping on smooth surfaces such as tiles and laminate flooring.

This is one of the best ferrules about. You need a sturdy one for outdoor use. I use it indoors too and it lasts forever
