Holds very tight.
This grip looks great on my shower tile wall. It holds so tight, that I’m impressed with it.

Width of shower handle in image description is wrong
Be careful if you are looking for a narrow handle because this is not it. The 4th image for the product says the width is 2.36" (inches). It is in fact 3.75" which unfortunately is too large for my 3" tile width. Sending back.

Very sturdy
This is a good product. It has a great grip. I feel safer showering with it. I is also good for the side of the tub.

Strong Grip/Difficult Installation
With my mother approaching 80, I've wanted to get something to help her get in and out of the tub/shower when visiting. I didn't know what to expect from this when I ordered it, but I've been pleasantly surprised with how strong a grip it has on the fiberglass shower wall.Installation, however, leaves a lot to be desired. There are no instructions included (why is that a constant refrain of late????) though the short video here on the sales page helped answer questions. That said, it is very difficult to get the tabs to snap back into place (unlike the video). I'm mid-fifties and not dealing with arthritis or anything at the moment, but I found it extremely difficult and had to get my strapping son to help out. Even he struggled with it some. But now that we're a go, it has stayed securely in place. I've pulled and tugged on it as hard as I can at times and it hasn't budged an inch, so thumbs up in that regard. Really good price point for how well it holds, but be sure and get someone really strong to help install it.

Feel safer in the shower
It was a little difficult to lock the device in place but once on I haven't had any problems. My husband however said two of the three we purchased came off and he had to reattach.

Surpringly strong stable suction attatchment power
The device is around a foot or so long, which is a decent size for almost any sized handbar to grab onto. The device is mostly white with grey areas, giving it a clean medical appearance. It is very lightweight, being made of something like a sturdy plastic or similiar maerial, with a rubbery or silicone like material for the suctions. This does at first glance make the device seem a bit cheap, but after testing it out, I can say in this case that appearances are deceptive. This device is actually very functionally strong and capable... Though I also wouldn't try to back over it with a car like in those silly gimmick commercials... It's strong but not indestructable. As an adult disabled woman, I am not physically strong enough to install this device myself. (UPDATE ** the suction locking mechanism seems to have limbered up a bit after first use, and I am now able to move and attatch it myself**) So I had a family member install it for me. They installed it onto the rim of my bathtub, parallel to my toilet, on the toilet's right side. Upon installing it, I went in to test it's suction attatchment strength.I pulled on the handlebar fairly hard, but not so hard as to be heavily yanking on it. The device never budged or gave any clue that it might. I could feel the power of it's suction grip remain strong and stable. At this point, I feel confident that it will last a long time, and remain gripped onto the tub rim for just as long, or maybe until we decide to move it.Side note... Despite any listed properties or limits on the package or in the instructions, still always be careful when using. Just in case the list is wrong, or just in case it didn't get properly installed, or perhaps for some reason it just simply didn't get a good suction grip. Thinking you got a stable handbar to help you standup out of the tub, then finding out the hard way that you don't, is definitely not good. So make sure you follow all installation instructions exactly. (**UPDATE when we tried to move this handlebar, we realized it will NOT suction grip onto the shower wall. Most likely due to the shower wall being made from a cheap pourous material. So keep in mind this handlebar does need a solid smooth surface for the suction grip to be strong.**)

Strong suction/requires strength to install
Tranquil Beauty Shower Handle - Non-Slip Grab Bars for Bathtubs and Showers with Suction Cups for Safety of Elders and Disabled IndividualsI got this thinking I could use it as foot rest for when I shave my legs. However, I didn't think to measure and the subway tile we have in our shower is smaller than the diameter of the suction cups. So I haven't been able to use it as intended.I have however stuck it to our glass block windows in the shower and found it very difficult to flip the little plastic levers that lock the suction cups in place. If this item were for a person with mobility or arthritis, I'd suggest having a friend or family member install it for them. I was not able to press down the levers without fearing the plastic would break or that I'd hurt my fingers somehow with all the pressure. HOWEVER--when it's on-IT'S ON GOOD. As long as it's installed, the suction cups are incredibly strong. So much so that I wonder if the plastic would really be able to sustain a couple hundred pounds. And, since I sometimes quilt and sew, I have seen people use these exact devices to place on a large flat quilting ruler for easier handling of the ruler. So I'll be using it for that!

No instructions
This product is well-designed and appears to be very sturdy. HOWEVER, it came without any installation instructions. I have tried to figure out how to get it to stay on the shower wall. It has two levers on it and purely through trial and error, I figured out that the levers flip up. I’m pretty sure you’re supposed to put it on the wall and push the levers back down to create the suction but try as I might, I can’t get those levers back down no matter how hard I push. The lack of instructions is extremely frustrating.
