This is a very soft material. I’m not impressed with the quality. I do believe something else is wrong with the steering on my mower, however this gear stripped within minutes of use. Fit was tight, not sure if it’s built up to or close to the standard of OEM.

Not worth it!
This gear fit my John Deere D140 mower, but it only lasted a couple of mowings before I had to replace it again. That is what I get for trying to save money on the OEM part. I would not recommend.
