Gasket to small,
the gasket is too small, I could not tighten it any more as the metal hex part hits the edge or the water heater rim. hard to explain.....but it drips and can not be tightened any further.

Quality is poor. Weld looks defective.
I am not impressed with the quality of the element I received. One of the welds at the end of the element looks defective. I will not risk using this element. It might work or it might burn down the RV.Besides the weld itself, the molded base material looks heat damaged.Not recommended.

Fit right in! Great replacement.
Installed in a GCH6-7E with no struggle at all! We used to use both electric and propane together to have longer hotter showers and when the original element began to get weaker we tended to prefer just propane altogether. Back in superb condition with an even better running hot water heater!
