This soap is very sensitive and does not dry out our hands. If you have eczema or super dry hands it’s hard to find a good hand soap. This one has been the best so far.The only downside like any bar soap is the soapy residue it leaves on the bar soap holder on the sink. But that happens with all bar soaps. Definitely worth it!

I bought this at my local health store and so far it's been great. My facial skin has been really red, dry and irritated because of tretinoin which I have to use for my acne and I was trying to find a gentle cleanser. None of the liquid face washes were ever gentle enough and the face soap I had gotten from LUSH made my skin really dry and tight.Then I saw this and read the ingredients. It was by far the only one which didn't have any chemical junk in the list so I thought I'd try it. It left my skin feeling clean, but not dry which not even my Neutrogena face wash managed to do. Definitely well worth the purchase and highly recommend it to anyone with sensitive skin like mine. Will be repurchasing.

This product did not perform as stated. The soap has a very light fragrance, but the claims about the soap being soft and mild on the skin were not true. In fact, my skin became very irritated and the itching increased. I had to discontinue issuing the soft and switched to the Mango Butter Soap by Nubian. A much better product and after two days, my skin returned to normal and all of the itching disappeared. I'm going to give away the remaining A La Maison Bar Soap.

Wonderfully gentle soap.This $35 price is 5 x normal, or maybe 4 x pandemic normal.
