Mounting Screws Too Small
Just got this today to replace another brand that has failed yet again. First the striker plate that goes into the door jam was too small to fit the opening. The screw holes were too close to be able to mount it where the latch could engage. If it were a new door frame it would have been fine. I had to reuse the existing plate and it works but not as intended as only the top latch engages. Second, the screws that attach the two latch plates together are too long for a standard size door! I had to cut about 1/8” off the smallest two screws with a hacksaw. They do give you 3 different pairs but all were too long. I’m hoping this one will last as it’s a non name brand… although expensive. The one I replaced was a common name brand in door locks and it lasted about 8 months. The first lock I had lasted almost 15 years and I replaced it with exactly the same and that one lasted about a month. Quality control is really bad on these cheap products.

I'm okay with this door lock, but...
I grew up in a house that the architect of that whole area's housing really was ahead of his time. He used pocket doors throughout the house to make more available/useable space that would have been wasted had he installed regular doors. As an example, my parent's bedroom had a walk-through closet that lead to a 3/4th bathroom - it had a nice, big shower stall instead of a bath tub - but both doors that led through the walk-through closet were pocket doors. Doors that slide away into the wall are really great for certain areas like this. In building my own house I wanted to be able to use that same technique to reclaim wasted space. Now, the problem I have with this door lock is that it is similar to the one that could lock the pocket door that connected directly between the bathroom and the closet, BUT and this really bothers me - in order to make a pocket door really USEFUL you have to have a pocket door PULL HANDLE which is not included here!!! It's generally not terribly expensive - it is a small, hooked pull lever on a spring that pops up so you can hook it with your fingers and pull the pocket door OUT OF THE WALL. Without it you have a door in the wall and no way to pull it out!!! So...why wouldn't you include that piece with this door lock? Makes perfect sense to me...door lock works and I'm okay with it, but without the pull lever, it's useless in my opinion.

Looks great
I love the look of this lock. I am installing a new pocket door in my bathroom and chose this design over the square design with a hidden finger pull on the door end. I’ve had that style for years and haven’t been happy with it. Doing a remodel gave me the chance to change to this style.Netherlands locking mechanism is much better and a solid design. The brushed nickel finish looks good and matches the fixtures in my bathroom. Definitely a nice looking and functioning lock.

Looks great easy installation
We are remodeling a home including installing new doors and hardware. We have placed pocket doors in our bathrooms. These locks were perfect for our doors. The look great and were very easy to install. Appear to be very durable. Price was comparable to local hardware stores. Appearance is fantastic, installs easily, and locks easily. Very glad I got this.

perfect if you have a pocket door that doesn't lock
easy to install, and adds privacy and secure locking for a bedroom or bathroom with a pocket door.

So much classier than the hook type pocket door hardware.
This door lock fit perfect in a "reclaimed" door with existing mounting holes for standard hardware. Totally saved me from buying a new door blank. The locking latch design is genius! I love how it sits flush with the door panel like a deadbolt on a swinging door and then "wings" (for lack of a better word) extend behind the strike plate to secure the door. I hadn't seen this type of lock before. (I suppose I should get out of the house more)? The finish is excellent and the hardware has smooth action and feels sturdy. There's a little adjusting needed when lining up the strike plate, but that's easy. Very happy with this decision!

Perfect fit for my pocket door
The lock on our bathroom pocket door broke and this was a perfect replacement. I lost one of the screws, which is why there are different color screws in the photo. Works smoothy, lock securely, and looks nice.
