The Wolf's Vulnerable Alpha: An Mpreg Shifter Romance (Seven Corners Shifters Book 5)

Well written story and well developed characters! This book continues in Seven Corners! You really need to read them in the correct order. Then you get a much better experience. True, the head of security for the pack, figured he was too tough and ornery for any alpha to want him! He was okay with that. Honestly he was!

Pro’s: it had a good plot. I LOVED the “role reversal” where the omega was physically stronger and the alpha was more emotionally strong. It was really sweet to watch their relationship evolve.Cons:I felt like the author used the “fated mates” as a reason to not give us more emotional development between the characters and I feel like a longer “courting” period of just getting to know each other and fall in love would have really enhanced the story.The intimate scenes were few and mild, maybe a weak moderate spicy at best. However I don’t have to have a bunch of sex thrown at me for a good story but I would have liked some hand holding and cuddling would have been nice too.

Ava Beringer has given me something I hardly see in these novels and it’s PoC and dark skinned men as bottoms .I appreciated the reluctant Alpha Bronx, oblivious Tris and grumpy Jorik. As things left the brothers the Fated Mates trope kind of held things back .I always know they’ll have stunning sex and the character will be come back pregnant and they’ll have even more babies . At this point I think there’s like 15 babies- it’s A Lot.I kind of love how freaking strange this world is? Ppl will shift certain parts of their body and make themselves these weird eldritch horrors and then Butt Babies - explicitly said butt babies .I’d like to see more from Ava in Seven Corners but hope she comes up with new plot beats to make her stories more compelling .Sure , for this novel specifically it was abt stolen laptops but half way through that plot seemed forgotten before the author was like “oh yeah the laptops “ and suddenly brought them back .Anyway, this is a solid fun series with happy endings and Lots of Babies , so many .

True finally found an alpha to appreciate and love him properly. This was such a good story with the switch of what is usually seen of the Alpha and Omega personalities.I received an ARC and this is my unbiased opinion

I love coming to Seven Corners! Never turn down an invitation. This was one of the sweetest stories. True and Morty were just the purest of love and I’m glad to be here for it. Not to mention True is a force for real!

I truly enjoyed True and Morty. They are a perfect match, heart and soul. Love how they handled the adorable and witty kids and True's family. Can't wait for the next one. 😃😃I received an ARC for my voluntary and honest review.

I’m so impressed with this story and how much drama and excitement there is in every single moment that happened that brought these characters together with each other and how they fell in love.
