18/8 Stainless Steel Silicone Bulb Turkey Basters Syringe - Injector Needle with Cleaning Brush

I received my order in a matter of a few days thankfully; I am pleased to see that the needle is quite sharp, and the cleaning brush works well—I washed the item before using, I recommend that you do that too any time you buy/receive kitchen products. The front, conical end of the cleaning brush has bristles that are more stiff than the wider brushy area, which is good because it will allow me to get little bits of herbs and garlic pieces out without worry of causing taste transfer issues when using again, as I have two dinner parties to bake/roast for this year. The baster itself is about 11” long including the bulb, and the sharp needle is about 2” long. My items came packed in a large Ziploc-type bag and in a padded envelope. No nicks or scratches on the baster itself, it looks really nice. I would like to see the bulb in purple, pink, blue, etc and a little thicker, but I am not sure if anyone sells basters with a variety of colours as I was just trying to find a good baster at a good price to use this season. This is a very good product for basting or sucking up grease from hamburg. It’s extremely sturdy and the brush makes it a breeze to clean!

I wanted a turkey baster that was easy to clean and this one certainly fits the bill. You do have to be careful when suctioning up juices from the turkey, twice as I let go of the bulb on top, the juices came spilling out; luckily both times I still had the baster over the roasting pan or I would have had a mess. Other than that I would recommend this baster.

I've only used it a few times so it is easy to clean and easy to use however I'm not sure on the durability because again I haven't owned it for very long. However I do like the idea that it stainless steel versus the plastic ones you buy in most stores because the plastic ones crack as soon as you put them in the hot liquid when you're roasting something in order to baste it.

This baster has it all, a stainless steel tube and a silicone rubber ball. The silicone means the bulb should resist cracking and food chemistry for a very long time. We are very pleased. No literature came with the baster, so we could never figure out what the O ring floating around inside the top of the baster tube was for. We had to remove that to keep from losing it. I coated the top of the baster with a drop of silicone paste, and with that, the suction is perfect.

Put this bad boy to the test for a Christmas Eve EVE dinner party where I made roast chicken... this baster far surpassed my old plastic one where, of course, the bottom tip melted flat. No problem of any kind with this one, and it sucked up the juices beautifully to distribute all over the chicken, as well as to transfer drippings to a pot on the stove to make gravy. Hoping the bulb withstands the test of time and high temps, until then, two thumbs WAY way up.

This product changed my life. In the past I used a plastic straw and then spit the turkey juices back on the bird.My turkey is now juicer and does not have that hint of mouth wash.And as momma says "there ain't nothing like a juicy turkey"

il gambo in metallo permette di raccogliere i liquidi di cottura praticamente dentro il forno, senza incorrere in rischio di crepe per il calore. un po' pesante rispetto alla resistenza della membrana ma con il tempo uno si abitua a usarla sempre meglio. essendo in silicone e acciaio è assolutamente facile da pulire e non lascia nulla nei liquidi con cui si usa.nota un po' bassa è l'ago;resistente e sicuro con la vite e la guarnizione, ma risulta un po' grosso e tende a riempirsi se si trovano zone di grasso otturandosi, non è particolarmente affilato e bisogna fare una certa forza, e se si impugna sulla membrana si rischia di riversare il contenuto fuori dalla carne e non dentro.detto questo è un prodotto di qualità che ha reso il suo servizio in parecchi arrosti avicoli e bovini, l'ago è un plus di cui si può fare a meno ma non è detto che lo migliorino

Personalmente l’ho comprato per mettere l’acqua negli stampini per i cubetti di ghiaccio, che diversamente si versava fuori dal contenitore. Lo trovo molto comodo. L’ho cercato tanto nei negozi senza successo.Per chi lo volesse usare in cucina, ha anche uno scovolino per pulirlo all’interno.

Ho risolto Finalmente il problema dei liquidi in eccesso nelle pietanze al forno in più con l'ago inietto degli aromi nelle carni rendendole morbide e succose veramente fantastico

Lo adoro. Ottima qualità e facile da pulire. Utilissimo soprattutto per le cotture in forno, dove prendere il fondo di cottura col cucchiaio è difficile e scomodo.
