Easy to use
The tool when properly used can easily remove old caulking without making a mess. Of course, one needs certain other materials like rags, plastic gloves when re-caulking. Following instruction and as suggested using Gorilla kitchen and bath caulking it's ideal and it dries quickly and not bad during clean-up. Cleaning the tool best using a low odor paint thinner on a rag really works great.

Cool tool
Great little tool with multiple tips, a scraper, and a cutter. Fits nicely in your hand. A little stiff when you first open it up but I believe that will get better with use over time.

Work for the purpose
I took the caulk from my kitchen sink which was already black and nasty. It was easer than do it with knives or spatulas. It was easier than remove it with something else. It did not damage the counter top and fit in the space I needed.
