Silicone rubber
Worked awesome and I made a beast of a mold. A 17 1/2” diameter and 1 1/2” deep tree of life. Came out perfect. The mold kit meh was basically lego. But it actually did work on a small mold.

So far so good!
I have made one mold with this stuff, had a good experience, and expect to make more once I get around to designing some multi-part multi-part mold molds in OpenSCAD (because I am a nerd who would rather talk math to computers than take casts of random items around the house). This kit comes with the silicone resin, of course, but also mixing/measuring cups, wooden stir sticks (if you run out, buy some popsicles), liquid dyes for making your molds whatever color you want, a bag of LEGO-compatible bricks for building a retaining wall around your random object(s), and some plastic bags for holding in whatever leaks through the brick walls.I haven't actually used the bricks or the bags, because my 3D printed mold master had built-in walls, but they might be handy for building space ships or something. Heck, you could use this kit to take a mold of them and produce your own bricks! This will of course require a two-part mold, and figuring out how to make that work is left as an exercise to the reader. Or take a mold of your popsicle sticks so you can resin-cast your own when you run out, if you don't like eating popsicles. The two parts of the resin are supposedly equal density, which is great because it means you can measure by mass (I like to use this little scale: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003STEJ4S) or by volume. I found that the silicone will peel off of the included plastic measuring cups easily enough, once it has cured, but I prefer to wipe them out with a paper towel and then use soap and water to get any remaining residue so I don't have to worry about it, later. The same goes for the inverse: mixing epoxy or other resin in silicone cups (I like these ones: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09WDPYD27, but of course with this kit you have the option to cast your own!), which is usually the first thing you do once you have a silicone mold.

DISAPPOINTED
This product takes more than 24 hours to cure, unlike another silicone I used that cured within 6 hours. It's not effective for me, and I suspect I might have received a defective batch, especially since I prefer a 1:1 ratio. Unfortunately, this feels like a waste of money, and I regret not investing in smaller containers. Initially excited, but ultimately disappointed – won't be purchasing this silicone again.

Not fast curing!
Listing says it cures in 12 hours. No, it definitely does not cure in only 12 hours, realistically the cure time is at least 36 hours. It's still tacky at 24 hours and not even completely solid at 12 hours. It feels like it's softer than 15A, it's a little too squishy which make larger molds a little harder to handle. Some of the included pigments aren't that great but I always use mica powder for coloring the silicone. If you can get over those things, it's pretty decent silicone for the price point. I like how translucent it cures, it works really well for UV resin molds. It also picks up mica pigments really well, especially metallic and colorshift powders. Would I buy this silicone again? Most likely but I know now what it's good to use for and what it's not so great for.
