Q: is it good for teaching online?

I use this to train my clients fitness through zoom and it works really well as I’m standing about 2m away from it. I had to find a program that would let me get into the advanced settings to set it up for that distance. For normal video calls it’s fine as it is.

Q: Can I use this with my fire cube to video call on the tv ?

This is probably more correctly addressed to Fire Cube experts. This webcam is a pretty standard webcam and to look at it you could be tempted to think they all come from the same factory. I loaded Zoom on to a Nvidia Shield and the sound did not work - but concluded that was to do with the Zoom software which has all sorts of features to avoid feedback. The software handling your 'video call' will be doing fancy things so you may need to experiment with alternatives. Also, if you read my other posts, you really need to be able to 'adjust' your camera to get a good contrast/colour temperature. I can do this on the PC I do for Zoom but found no way to do it with my Shield which is nothing more than a better fire cube.
