Arya & Bear and the Great Escape

This book does such a great job of teaching children (and adults) an otherwise difficult topic! The pictures can be used to help children understand even if they don't understand the words

I absolutely loved this book. Don't get me wrong I cried A LOT reading it but fantastically written. I got it for my son but I think he's a bit too young at 4 to grasp it fully. But will revisit when he's 5 and understands mortality. I've told all friends who have young children to buy it too. I hope to see more from this author. Thank you so much.

Arya & Bear and the Great Escape is well written with rich illustration that really brings the story to life. Great respect goes to the author for covering such an important topic, and looking to uncover the sad reality of our (humans) relationships with other animals with an approach that young (and old) readers can understand and relate to. I hope this book achieves it's aim of nurturing and encouraging more empathy and compassion from it's audience.

This is a beautifully bittersweet book with gorgeous illustrations throughout. It's very different to a typical children's book, which I think is a breath of fresh air. I wish books like this were more widely available to children (and even adults).

The authors passion for writing shines through in an elegant and well structured concept. Really looks forward to seeing it come to life in more depth with the added illustrations!!

So refreshing and really tugs at your heartstrings. 10 stars!
