It does a good job of dampening soundwaves but the fumes are very, very bad from this foam and made me feel dizzy, nauseous and I had a headache. I spoke to an acoustics experts on the phone from a top acoustics treatment company and he told me if the foam made me feel ill then it's obvious emitting carcinogenic fumes and I learned that this is extremely dangerous and long term exposure can lead to you developing cancer. If you need information on this do an internet search for acoustic foams and VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds). For one thing the foam is made withIt's sad really because it definitely dampened the echos in the room but my health is far more important.

These are a lot bigger in real life than I expected. Super thick and great for deadening the room. That said, you'll probably need at least two boxes to treat the vital spots in a medium sized room. I got away with one and a half boxes for a small double bedroom.They make the room sound so much better. Kills flutter echo and even helps with lower frequencies. When listening to music on monitors, the stereo image and instrument placement is far clearer, and the bass is much tighter.I live in rented accommodation and can't really damage the walls. My solution was to superglue card to the back of the foam panels and then stick that to the walls with lots of small evenly spread dots of bluetack all over the back. It's held up fine all week. This works for the bass traps, too. If you're renting, I recommend this method.

Great foam, has best absorbency I found in a foam product like this.One thing I'll mention is the smell. You will want to air it out for a week or two in a spare room/shed so the fumes dissipate. After that its fine and becomes odorless. (just a heads up)Well worth the money. :)

Great Tiles have mixed these with other tiles from the same company these deeper tiles help to deal with lower freq used in conjuntion with other 100mm tiles more blocky and the large bass traps makes the room sound great on top i have used a primacoustic London 12 kit Room sounds Bless

This product is high quality and for a great price. Absorbs the high frequencies very well!

I'm not going to compare it to other brands/solutions. It's as described and arrived well packed and very quickly. After using it for a while it's made my listening environment much more enjoyable to work in. Can't fault it for the price.

Brilliant value acoustic foam has sharpened up my mixing bought 2 bass traps as well and these have utterly changed how I mix, can really hear what's happening.
