It’s cute, quiet and heats water quickly. From the reviews I’ve read, it breaks soon after purchase and I’ve only had mine for about a week. The handle is beige plastic not wood but the entire inside of the kettle is stainless steel. I like that it doesn’t look like a bog-standard electric kettle though it was quite expensive for what it is.

It’s nice looking. I like that it is easy to carry - I had a broken wrist recently and other kettles are off balance when full, and this one isn’t. However, it only holds 1 liter of water, and that amount can easily spill out from the spout when transporting. Can’t see the amount of water in the kettle without lifting lid, which then spills water drops all over. It seems to work otherwise and we will use it in the meanwhile.Update: October 2024: Kettle didn't shut off, came close to boiling dry. I cooled it and tried to heat water in it again but it is broken.

This kettle is giant and I drink a ton of tea so this is amazing. I love the design, I love the way it looks and how much I can use before refilling. There are only a couple cons.The first is that you can't really dictate the temperature. So if you're a tea snob and like having a specific temperature for green vs black vs white tea this is not for you. I use this for my everyday teas and have a nice one where you can set the exact degree on for my special teas. It also boils very fast and stays hot for at least an hour I've noticed. It's great!The second con is the spout. I have all gooseneck kettles, and I'm used to their lack of spillage and their precision. This one is just a large spout.So overall four stars and if it had a slightly different spout (or a way of closing and opening it) and a way to set the temperature to at least medium-low and high it would be perfect.

Top gets stuck and is broken and we like it to return but don't know how

Beautiful, simple , minimalist- the look I was going for. Originally I was looking for a water kettle with temperature control, but this kettle was too good looking to pass up. Boils water fast . When the water is emptied, I wipe the inside and lead and air dry before putting away.

I have had this kettle for not even a year, and this morning the handle popped off the top. It looked like it had maybe just been glued there, which is kind of a bummer considering the price. I now have to get a butter knife and wedge it into the seam of the lid to get it off. I would not recommend this product if you are looking for something that works long-term.

It’s pretty expensive for a plastic kettle without temperature control however I’m keeping it because it’s the only design that fits my aesthetic with a movable handle so I can easily pour water in and clean inside.
