Installed it with 2inch piping as recommended, went pretty easy. It let me set the timer to 12h and then after that all it showed was flashing CL and the red light on "no flow" . I have a new pentair pool pump that can go up to 3500 RPM and still shows " low flow " I highly doubt at that speed there's low flow . I guess I'll have to wait and see how good this customer service will be.

This unit works great I have a 20 thousand gallon pool installation was a breeze it will work on above Or in ground pool if you have the system pictured that I do But the main thing to make a salt generator work properly is you first have to get your water in perfect condition before you turn on the salt unit your PH has to be perfect your chlorine stabilizer has to be perfect your alkalinity has to be perfect then you add enough salt to your water mine took 15 40 pound bags of salt to achieve the 3400 ppm once you have the pool water chemistry perfect this unit will take care of it highly recommend plus I jumped started mine by using 5 bags of chlorine shock very satisfied after a month with not adding or doing anything else to the pool water

After recieving chlorinator and it failing within a month of operation I contacted Westaho. Their respons was fast and they sent me out a new unit to replace my defective one without hesitation. Customer service was amazing and new unit working properly as of today.

I purchased this item on June 29th, it’s only been a short 4 mos and the product is broken. I had my service guy who installed it from Pinch A Penny come out to inspect it, because it was working. I had algae in my pool. He unplugged it and tried starting it again and it started smoking. I must have received a defective product and hopefully I’ll be sent a new one.

Junk, Second one of these I have bought. first one was in for 60 days and failed. this one lasted a little over 30 days. Just outside the return time.
