These things are sturdy, quite heavy but if you wanted something light you'd get plastic lunchboxes instead, with the surprisingly hard to find addition of having the capped vent you can open for use in the microwave. I use the smallest two for lunchboxes, and the largest two for storing leftovers. They're so much easier to clean and keep clean than plastic, which so often gains that orange-y yellow staining from certain foods, and unlike most of the plastic lunchboxes I've had in the past, these have not leaked while being transported to work. I'll often take a fruit salad to work, which ends up having a lot of liquid sloshing around, and these containers have yet to leak.

These are really great products - easier to clean than your usual tupperware and perfect for leftovers. We use for all sorts of food storage and can also be used in the microwave. Lids are able to lock securely too. Would highly recommend.

After telling him nothing went reliably from freezer to hob to oven, we decided some traditional pyrex would be best. These are great as they stack nicely, minimising the amount of space taken up in a small flat. The lids are perfect as he wants to batch cook, and then pop leftovers in the fridge or freezer to reheat in the microwave. The vented lid makes this so much easier and less risk of messy drips all over the inside of the microwave. Very happily received and being used already. Great value.

So far so good..have only used them for the fridge for storage and so haven't used them for cooking etc. as yet.
