Firmer than other brands, but still safe for kids. A 170 plus pound adult can stand on it without crushing it. Love that is folds up and stores easily. My gymnastics loving kids love this! It helps them with balance and coordination. They use it while watching tv. Great buy!

We purchased this balance beam for our pre school granddaughter. She is in a gymnastics class and lives to balance on anything. She immediately took to this beam and walks on it everyday. Sometimes heal to toe sometimes one foot on and the other on the floor. We have it on a carpet and it does not move. Both my husband and I walk on the beam and it remains stable. I think this us a good purchase especially for the price.

Easy to store

This is amazing! My 250 lb husband didn't even dent it. It's so light to carry. I cannot believe how sturdy it is. My kids love it. I bought it for my toddler (2 years) for his obstacle course in our basement, but my daughter (7) loves it, and even my 11 and 13 year old sons, too. Everyone is playing like crazy on it. It looks like it's going to hold up really well.
