This is a lovely story about second chance and romance. Well written with the odd mistake in pov. Suitable for anyone wanting to escape a cold winter.

This story is a reminder to us that whoever said you have to stop having fun when you get old , we all have that little girl in us just wanting to get out and have some fun , you just have to find her , she’s there & when you do go follow your dreams ,I really enjoyed this book &if I could join Clover and her mother I would book the flight now & enjoy the sun , smells of that lovely food and the scenery , such a lovely story a good pick me up if you’re feeling down

Loved this book good holiday read . Beautifully written .Would definitely recommend .The description of food , countryside and buildings is amazing , you can imagine yourself there .

The fun experiences of daughter and mother, who later in life found romance, each other, new friends and a new life in Italy.

This book makes you feel as through there is a time and place where we all can feel contentment, and part of that comes from finding out who we are. A very enjoyable read.

This book is very relaxing, it has everything, drama, romance, humour and the characters are a good depth, you really feel them.A great weekend read.

I cried out with disappointment when I turned the page only to find the book had, however beautifully, ended. I was still there soaking up such Italian warmth and love. Everything worked out for everyone. Except me, wanting more……

The storytelling was done so well. I felt I was right there with the characters. I cried, laughed, and felt as if I made dear friends. What a lovely read for a few Winter's days

I love Maddie Please’s books, this one was very entertaining, hope there will be a second part to it.Highly recommend this book.

This is, as advertised, the perfect feel-good read. Maddie Please does an excellent job of storytelling, building us up to that happy ending. Along the way, Ms. Please really doesn't make us feel too bad. Mostly, we just enjoy the ride.So why only four stars? It is an enjoyable story and the writing is good. But there is no depth to it. So, as much as I enjoyed it, I just couldn't give it a full five stars. Still, I will be recommending it to my friends.
